Quick Answer
ÚJOP does not publish a downloadable A2 vocabulary inventory that replaces real exam tasks. Use a theme map for everyday Czech — errands, work, health, housing, travel — and learn words inside short Czech sentences with audio. Pair the Czech CCE Anki deck with CCE A2 drills for retrieval; compare habit apps under the nested Apps article.
Five everyday themes to anchor A2
Errands and services: post office, bank counter, appointment vocabulary, asking for a form, fixing a time slot. Write one short dialogue per week and vary the politeness level — exams reward accurate function, not ornate poetry.
Work and study: shifts, colleagues, simple instructions, email openings you might need in writing tasks. Keep cognate false friends visible on flashcard backs so they do not leak into production.
Health and body: symptoms, pharmacy requests, short doctor phrases. Listening clips often sound calm — train recognition at natural speed, not only slow tutor audio.
Housing and bills: renting, utilities, neighbours, simple complaints. These lemmas double for writing prompts that ask you to describe a problem in plain Czech.
Travel and directions: transport hubs, delays, tickets, clarifying time. Map labels to case patterns as you learn — prepositions stick when you see them inside full phrases.
Apps comparison lives separately
Tool comparisons stay in Best CCE A2 vocabulary apps so this page stays a theme map plus shop and drill links.
