Getting to work or class
Say how you get to work or class in Portugal — and ask one simple transport question.
How you go
ir de + transport. Walking uses a pé.
- Vou de autocarro.
- Vou de metro.
- Vou a pé.
- Vou de bicicleta.
Trap: em vs de
For transport mode, prefer “de”: de metro, de autocarro — not “em metro” in this pattern.

Ask for the right line
Keep the question short. Pointing at a map still counts as communication.
