How to ask anything
Pick the right question word for life in Portugal: onde, quando, quanto, quem, como, qual.

Memorise the job of each word before long grammar notes.

Trap: quanto vs quando
quando = when. quanto = how much / how many. Mix-up is very common.
- Quando chegas?
- Quanto custa o bilhete?

Answer with the same idea
Question word tells you what kind of answer they want.

- — Como? — De metro.
