Explanation
Rule: PT-PT normally contracts preposition + article (do/da/no/na/ao/à etc.). Use: contractions are standard, not optional, in natural Portuguese. Exam tip: this appears in almost every reading/listening item.

Rule: use estar for location, feelings, and temporary states. Pattern: estar + place/state adjective. Exam tip: if it can change soon, estar is usually right.

Explanation
Pattern: keep one base sentence and transform it into affirmative, negative, and question forms. Use: add não for negation; use intonation or inversion for simple questions. Exam tip: this gives fast flexibility in speaking tasks.
