Come alone — companions wait outside. Bring a valid ID in an accepted category; if it is missing or too damaged to verify, DUO states you cannot sit and must register again, and a false ID may be reported to the police. About one week before the exam, DUO sends a letter with date, time and location; the appointment also appears in Mijn Inburgering. You sign a confidentiality form: do not photograph or copy tasks or discuss the assignments with others. For a drink, bring a cup. Wait until staff call you from the waiting room. Schrijven is pen and paper; Lezen, Luisteren and Spreken are on computer. You may change or cancel in Mijn Inburgering until one week before the exam; cancellation in that window is refunded under the current DUO wording — recheck registration and examination rules.
