The four separate language exams, with no combined percentage, are on the Inburgering A2 page.
Quick Answer
For the A2 language exams and the KNM knowledge exam, DUO states you receive your result by letter within eight weeks, and you can also see it in Mijn Inburgering. Each component is reported separately — passing one exam does not issue the integration diploma. Staatsexamen NT2 (B1/B2) uses a different results process; see Inburgering A2 vs Staatsexamen NT2 for that track. Official page: DUO — results.
Below: what the diploma text means under Wi2021 vs Wi2013, how the Z-route certificate differs, paper copy timings, and what naturalisation files typically use — without extra steps we cannot source.
What the diploma says about level
As of 6 November 2026, DUO explains that under Wet inburgering 2021 the diploma states whether your language level was A2, B1 or B2. Under Wet inburgering 2013 the diploma does not state the level; DUO describes it as an A2 diploma.
Z-route and the integration diploma
If you qualify for the Z-route, completion may be certified by the municipality — that certificate is not the same document as this DUO integration diploma.
Paper diploma
DUO states you can order a paper diploma once at no charge; delivery can take up to eight weeks. A duplicate later carries a fee on the same official page — open that page for the current amount.
Naturalisation and municipal files
DUO says you may use the digital diploma in applications. IND and the municipality decide the naturalisation or other application itself — we do not add steps beyond what they publish. Route context: A2 vs B1 route (PIP).
