The DELF B2 has 4 sections.
1. Listening
25 min • 25 pts
Audio exercises — conversations, announcements, interviews.
2. Reading
30 min • 25 pts
Read texts and answer questions. Multiple-choice and short answers.
3. Writing
45 min • 25 pts
Two tasks: letter/email and short text. Word limits apply.
4. Speaking
6–8 min + 10 min prep • 25 pts
Three-part oral: guided conversation, role-play, monologue.

DELF B2 sessions in 2026 are held at Alliance Française and authorised test centres worldwide. For all specific sessions, registration deadlines, and test centre availability, check France Éducation International (CIEP) and your local centre.
