The four separate language exams, with no combined percentage, are on the Inburgering A2 page.
Quick Answer
Treat this as a private checklist aligned with A2 writing and speaking — DUO does not publish a grammar list for the integration papers. Schrijven is where word order stays visible on the page; Spreken still punishes muddled verbs and negation. Drill the patterns below in short sentences, then repeat them in Inburgering A2 drills and vocabulary themes in Inburgering A2 vocabulary.
de / het nouns
Learn common het-words (het huis) and de-words for people and many objects (de sleutel). Example: Ik zoek het huis, maar ik zie de sleutel niet.
Plurals
Mark plural endings (-en, -s) and agreement. Example: We hebben twee kinderen en drie tassen.
Present of zijn and hebben
Keep person endings tight. Example: Wij zijn moe, maar jullie hebben tijd.
Regular present tense
stem + t for hij/zij/het. Example: Hij werkt vandaag thuis.
Questions and inversion
Yes/no starts with the verb; WH-words pull the verb next. Example: Waar woont u? / Woont u in Utrecht?
Separable verbs
The prefix moves to the end of a main clause. Example: Ik bel mijn zus morgen op.
Modals: kunnen, moeten, willen
Modal first, infinitive at the end. Example: Ik moet vanavond mijn formulier insturen.
Time — manner — place
Order adverbs sensibly. Example: Ik ga vandaag met de bus naar het ziekenhuis.
omdat vs want
omdat sends the verb to the end; want keeps normal order. Example: Ik blijf thuis, omdat ik ziek ben. / Ik blijf thuis, want ik ben ziek.
geen vs niet
geen negates nouns; niet negates verbs/adjectives. Example: Ik heb geen contant geld bij me. / Ik werk vandaag niet.
er is / er zijn
Use er for existence. Example: Er zijn drie mensen in de wachtkamer.
Simple perfect with hebben or zijn
Pick a few common verbs and nail the participle + helper. Examples: Ik heb de brief al geschreven. / Wij zijn laat naar huis gegaan. / Ben je met de fiets gekomen?
