Three phrases to steal for your exam
não se vendem sem receita médica
they are not sold without a medical prescription
três vezes por dia, depois das refeições
three times a day, after meals
if you have a fever, you have to see a doctor
Exam tip
When you hear a price in PT-PT, the comma is spoken as 'e' — so 7,80 sounds like 'sete e oitenta'; if a speaker corrects a number, the corrected version is almost always the one the question tests.
Full transcript (open after the quiz)
Daniel: Boa tarde. Estou com muita dor de garganta. Há três dias.
Dra. Inês: Três dias, pois. Quer alguma coisa em especial?
Daniel: Sim… posso comprar antibióticos? Sem receita?
Dra.
